Constant Clermont is a French violinist who is currently studying at the CNSM de Paris with Olivier Charlier and privately with Julien Szulman. He previously studied in Cleveland with Professor Isabel Trautwein and was assistant concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra.
In 2020, he founded the Quatuor Mirages, a young ensemble based at the Fondation Singer-Polignac. With the quartet, he took part in the Verbier Festival Academy and the Aix-en-Provence Academy and studied with Mathieu Herzog, Gábor Takács-Nagy and members of the Ebène, Belcea and Berg quartets, among others.
Clermont has performed at festivals and institutions such as the Festival des Arcs, Les Concerts de Poches and La Chaise Dieu with artists such as David Grimal, Augustin Dumay, Michel Dalberto and Yann Dubost.
In 2024, Clermont takes part in chamber music sessions organised by Musethica.
In addition to playing the violin, Clermont is currently studying conducting with Mathieu Herzog.
