The Austrian singer Isabel Pfefferkorn received violin, cello, piano and singing lessons at an early age. Her repertoire ranges from early to contemporary music, while she also performs as a pop and jazz singer. Recent highlights include her debut album »Soaked in Colour« (From Purcell to Queen) accompanied by a cello quartet. Other highlights include her Lied tour through Saudi Arabia, the USA and Canada, debuts as alto and soprano soloist in Mahler's 3rd and 4th symphonies, alto solo in Handel's Messiah and Mendelssohn's Elijah, soprano solo in Schönberg's String Quartet No. 2 at the Tonhalle Zurich and with a contemporary work at Konserthuset Stockholm. Guest appearances include the Auditori Barcelona, Schubertiade Hohenems, Wiener Konzerthaus, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Vaduz Classic, Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, Düsseldorf Festival, PODIUM Esslingen as well as concert halls in Paris, London, Brussels, Baden-Baden, Cologne, Athens, Geneva and soon as »Ninfa« in Monteverdi's Orfeo at the Zurich Opera House and as "Eurydice" with René Jacobs and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.
