Letting the students take over a concert

»What are we actually doing here?«

A bunch of young people make the long and difficult journey to Bonn on Thursdays after school. They don’t just meet somewhere in Bonn, but in the Deutsche Welle in the offices of Beethovenfest.

The student management project, which has been running for many years, is now entering a new round. The fate of a concert at the festival 2023 is in the hands of a few students. If all goes well.

Old façade, paint peeling off the walls, cobwebs and plants reclaiming the walls. A lost place.

A world premiere, the »symphony of change«, staged and performed by Stegreif Orchester from Berlin.

But what is so special about this concert?

Why is it different from the other Beethovenfest concerts?

And why at all?

Stegreif Orchester will improvise a concert based on the music of four female composers. A musical painting, so to speak, in this world premiere on the theme of sustainability.
