Description
In Afghanistan, musicians face intimidation and persecution. The Afghanistan National Institute of Music left Kabul when the Taliban seized power and has been working in exile in Portugal for the last two years. With the trans-traditional Trickster Orchestra under the German-Iranian conductor Cymin Samawatie and members of the German National Youth Orchestra, they now enter into a cross-border musical exchange with improvised and newly composed music.
