Description
Based on Beethoven’s »Ode to Joy«, a walk-in installation of over 300 singers and hundreds of other people will be created on 2 October at the United Nations Square in Bonn. You can use your smartphone to be part of this unique performance, where sounds and colours will be played on hundreds of mobile phone screens. The aim of the flash mob is to create a huge sea of pixels through which spectators can move freely, immersing themselves in sounds and colours.
Become part of the »Pixel Symphony«: We are looking for people who would like to be a source of light and sound in this multimedia installation. If you are interested, all you need to do is come to a short dress rehearsal on 2 October at 15:30 on Platz der Vereinten Nationen (United Nations Square) and bring your smartphone. You will be given a position in the installation and instructions on how to participate, using your phone as an instrument. In this way, you will be part of a special work of art and community experience at the end of Beethovenfest.
