Workshop MUT (courage) for young adults
Radikale Töchter
Radikale Töchter (Radical Daughters) inspire effective political participation in their workshops. Their training programme of action, art and politics ignites the spark to fight for democracy, for human rights, for social justice, for freedom, equality and fraternity. As part of the Democracy Music Festival, they are offering the MUT (courage) workshop for young people.
In four hours, participants learn about action art from the activists’ side. Visual insights into the participants’ lives will be used to discuss what is political (and what is not). What makes them unhappy? What outrages them? Concepts for their own action art projects are developed and presented in groups. The participants take away inspiration and encouragement as well as a fun with politics.

Radikale Töchter
Racism, the climate crisis and disenchantment with politics: the world needs new radical ideas and measures if it wants to solve its challenges and problems. Above all, it needs more courage and a new enthusiasm for democratic values and civic and political engagement. In their workshops, Radikale Töchter (Radical Daughters) teach approaches to action art and artistic activism, focussed on the fundamental values of democratic coexistence and the challenges of our time. With their work, they empower (not only) young adults to formulate their concerns and goals with the means of action art and to develop ways to achieve them. The aim of the workshops is to promote humanity, attitude and passion and to help people discover their ability to act. They learn to inspire other people with their ideas and promote self-motivated action. For a critical mass that burns with passion again: For democracy. For freedom, equality, brotherhood and sisterhood.
