Alexei Gerassimez is a musician as versatile as his instruments. He is not only a phenomenal virtuoso, but also a creative and intelligent musician with incredible energy and colour. He is constantly expanding his repertoire with new works written especially for him.

In the 2023/24 season, he was Artist in Residence at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf and the Staatstheater Augsburg, and toured with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Edward Gardner. Gerassimez is Professor of Percussion at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.
