The pianist Giorgio Lazzari has already performed as a soloist and with orchestra in many Italian and European concert halls and has won prizes at national and international competitions. He completed his bachelor's degree at the Conservatorio Gaetano Donizetti in Bergamo in 2019 with top marks. He is currently in the second year of master's studies with Maria Grazia Bellocchio. Last year he received a scholarship from the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein. He has participated in piano and chamber music master classes with Pavel Gililov, Salvatore Accardo, Filippo Gorini and Marc Bouchkov, as well as with various contemporary composers. At the prestigious Robert Schumann Competition in Düsseldorf, Germany, he was awarded 1st prize in his age group in October 2021, and also won the special prize for the best interpretation of a work by Robert Schumann.
