Kane Kampmann studied free painting with Prof. Dank and illustration with Prof. Kohlscheen-Richter at the Werkschule Cologne. She is active as visual artist with light installations, facade projections, as set designer, illustrator and painter.
Her latest projects include:
DAS PARADIES IST ANDERSWO – space-encompassing light installations for the reopening of the Romanesque basilica St. Severin and in St. Michael, LE COEUR in Herz Jesu and HUMBOLDTS KOSMOS for the »Severinale« in Cologne.
The Trilogie of facade projections SICHTBAR MACHEN which was funded by the Foundation EVZ and was created in cooperation with the Museum Service as well as the NS Documentation Center Cologne, was nominated to the top 3 of »Kulturereignis des Jahres 2022«.
The installation »Orient meets Occident – Architecture in Light«, which was planned in 2020 for the 100th birthday of Gottfried Böhm, was postponed due to the corona pandemic and will take place on October 20–22, 2023 in the Herz-Jesu Church in Schildgen, which was built by Böhm.
