Loriana Casagrande, who grew up in Luxembourg, studied stage and costume design at the Mozarteum Salzburg and the Norwegian Theatre Academy. During her studies, she assisted at the Salzburg Festival and the Vienna State Opera. Her own work in stage and costume design as well as exhibition architecture followed at the Augsburg Theatre, the Norsk Teknisk Museum in Oslo and the Neumünster Abbey in Luxembourg, among others. From 2017–2019, she was a stage design assistant at Schauspiel Frankfurt, where she realised several of her own stage designs. Since 2019, she has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer at Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Vienna Burgtheater and the Théâtre National du Luxembourg, among others.
With the Kollektiv Widerhall, she has realised several productions with a strong reference to the city of Frankfurt. She is a member of the Szenografie-Bund and is currently learning German sign language. This production is her first collaboration with Friederike Blum and Un-Label.
