Lukas Böhm studied at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin and as a fellow of the Karajan Academy with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He was awarded first prize at the Universal Marimba Competition Belgium 2017 and first prize and two special prizes at the 19th Osaka International Music Competition 2018. Concert tours and guest teaching positions have taken him throughout Europe, Asia, the USA, Canada and South America. His achievements have been rewarded with prizes and scholarships.
