Nadzeya Karakulka has performed in Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, France and Germany. Since 2021, she has been an active contributor to the »Music for Belarus« project.
Nadzeya Karakulka was born in Maladzechna (Belarus). At the age of seven, she moved to Minsk with her family and began playing Belarusian cymbal. From 2007, Nadzeya Karakulka studied cymbal at the Belarusian State Academy of Music with Professor Evgeni Gladkov. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 2012 and her master’s degree in 2013. During these years she won several prizes at national and international competitions. She regularly performed das soloist at the Music Academy and in 2013 appeared as soloist with the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra.
During and after her studies, Nadzeya took part in musical projects of the Polish Institute in Minsk. In 2014 she founded the project »Amalgama« with four musicians. In 2015 she played baroque music with Musica Antiquea Mediterrania at the Festival Musiksommer am Zürichsee as well as at »Natale in Villa Mozzecane« in Verona. In 2016 she took part in the festival »Musik in den Häusern der Stadt« (Cologne). In 2017 she became a scholarship holder of the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation with the Trio Volklassik.
In Minsk she worked as a cymbal teacher from 2008 to 2016. Since 2016 she has been teaching elemental music education, ensemble and piano at various music schools in Cologne.
