Philip Banse is a journalist and host of the podcast »Lage der Nation«. He has worked as a journalist in Berlin for over 20 years, including many years as a reporter in the capital city studio of Deutschlandradio. He studied history, politics and Russian in Hamburg. In 2005, he started the podcast »Küchenradio« with friends and subsequently founded the podcast label »Kuechenstud.io«, which published »Lage der Nation« in 2016–2020.

Philip is primarily concerned with the effects of digitalisation, but also focuses on environmental and educational issues.
