Sabine Erdmann took her first harpsichord lessons at the age of 11 with Beata Seemann in Munich. From 1988 until 1993 she studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Heidelberg-Mannheim with Prof. Egino Klepper, afterwards at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin with Prof. Mitzi Meyerson, focusing intensively on the concert qualification. In 1998 she successfully completed her concert exam with Prof. Egino Klepper. She has attended master classes with Huguette Dreyfus, Robert Hill, Jesper Christensen and Lars Ulrich Mortensen.
Since 1998 Sabine Erdmann lives and works as a freelance harpsichordist in Berlin. Apart from her solo concerts, she plays continuo harpsichord and the organ with numerous orchestras (Concerto Grosso Berlin, Concerto Brandenburg, Berliner Kammerorchester, Heidelberger Sinfoniker) and chamber music ensembles (Concerto Grosso Berlin, Ensemble Serenata, Ensemble Dreiklang Barock, Ensemble Buon Tempo, La Gioia).
Ms. Erdmann works as corepetitor at the Universität der Künste Berlin and with various historical dance ensembles, also at the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb, where she gives regular chamber music courses. Sabine Erdmann has performed for radio (NDR, SFB) and in CD recordings as soloist and continuo harpsichordist.
