Sebastian Wielandt, born in Karlsruhe in 1994, studies PBA and KMA percussion in Linz. In 2021 he made his debut with the ensemble "Motus Percussion Linz", the Vienna Singakademie and the piano duo »Ferhan & Ferzan Önder« in the Grand Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus. As an orchestral percussionist he regularly works with the Bruckner Orchestra/Landestheater Linz. At the invitation of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, he participated as solo timpanist in various productions under renowned conductors. In the course of numerous orchestral engagements, he played at the Philharmonie Berlin or Carnegie Hall in New York City, among others.
In 2022 Sebastian Wielandt was invited as a lecturer for percussion and as a musician to the composition workshops as part of the national competition »Jugend Komponiert« of Jeunesses Musicales Germany. He also conducted the ensemble consisting of scholarship holders of the German Music Competition 2021 and recorded excellent works as a solo percussionist with sound engineer Piotr Furmanczyk.
