The composer, guitarist, singer and double bassist Silas Eifler works as a freelance musician and lives in Cologne. He is the second deputy chairman of the Klimper Klang – Musik Inklusiv e. V. and is involved in the implementation of inclusive music projects. As a singer and guitarist, he has been on stage with the band Vanilla Boat Crew (since 2011), with the project »Manuel Quero und die Eiflers« (since 2014) and since 2018 with the duo Acordada (tangos and choros with flute and guitar). Silas has been the double bass player in the klezmer and tango band Tovte since 2018.
Silas Eifler has been the musical director of various theater productions at the Teatron Theater in Arnsberg since 2012 and for the integrative theater project »Wintergarten« in 2016. Since 2019, Silas Eifler has been involved in several productions at Theater Marabu in Bonn as a musician, composer and performer.
Since 2015, Silas Eifler has been regularly involved in dance and music theater projects as a composer and performer in collaboration with the dancer and choreographer Manuel Quero and the head of the Arnsberg cultural office Kirsten Minkel (Sauerlandtheater). He began his teacher training (GHR) in music and English at the University of Cologne in 2017, majoring in guitar.
