Community projects

To enable cultural participation on an equal footing, Beethovenfest Bonn has established the principle of co-curatorship. This allows people from the most diverse contexts to realise their creative visions together with professional musicians. We are proud to create opportunities for everyone to access music and concert experiences at the Beethovenfest.

The festival’s complex and innovative concert formats are geared towards our goal of thinking of music education as an institutional cross-sectional task and of making the entire festival more participatory, inclusive and diverse. This process is supported by the Deutsche Bank Foundation and the Commerzbank Foundation. We extend our thanks to them for their support.
