Founded in 2011, DieOrdnungDerDinge is a Berlin-based ensemble of actor-musicians dedicated to developing new forms of musical theater in highly visual, often playful ways. The strength of the ensemble lies in its versatility; members have backgrounds in music, composition, acting, and visual arts.

Through assemblages of sound, language, objects, light and movement, DieOrdnuneDerDinge create a music that only becomes palpable through the carefully balanced arrangement and ordering of all elements. Visible sounds and audible images create poetic music theatre experiences that open up new worlds of perception with wit, irony, humour and philosophical undertones. The name says it all: musically and artistically, the ensemble explores order and disorder, systems, principles and structures.
