The Duo Sono Eternity formed after participating in the German Music Competition 2021 and combines a variety of multicultural percussion instruments and flutes. The ensemble arranges music from the Middle Ages to the present day and spans an arc into today’s musical culture with influences from Jazz.

For recorder player Sophia Schambeck, it is essential to build a connection with her audience through music. Always on the lookout for new paths, she experiments with concert formats, electronics and improvisation on international stages, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam or the Heidelberger Frühling. In 2021 she was selected for the »Konzertförderung Deutscher Musikwettbewerb« and received a scholarship. She is currently studying New Music as well as recorder and historical performance practice in Munich.

Sebastian Wielandt studies percussion in Linz. In 2021 he made his debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus and participated as solo timpanist in various productions, including with the Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. As an orchestral musician, he has performed at the Philharmonie Berlin and Carnegie Hall New York, among other venues. In 2022, he was invited to teach percussion and to participate as a musician in the »Jugend Komponiert« composition workshops of Jeunesses Musicales Germany. He also conducted the scholarship ensemble of the German Music Competition 2021.
