Description
A concert where everything is truly »ultra« awaits us. Starting at the front door, the artists fill the performance with surprises and contrasts. Divided into groups, the audience experiences alternating performances.
This meeting of outstanding young talents is guaranteed to be a special chamber music experience: an ensemble bringing together all of this year’s Beethovenfest Talents along with residency artist Anastasia Kobekina perform classical quintets, centering around Franz Schubert’s celebrated String Quintet. The other part of the concert will feature the newly announced Ensemble Prize winners of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation: The Tacet(i) Ensemble brings a breath of fresh air from Thailand’s music scene.
But there’s more than just music: the programmes are specially contextualized and introduced by the artists. As master of ceremonies, director and performer Daniel Cremer presents an evening of creative contradictions: with brief interventions, surprise moments, drinks, and staged transitions. A different kind of concert in the new high-rise on Bundeskanzlerplatz, with a magnificent view of the Rhine Valley from the 27th floor.
