One drum set isn’t enough: world traveller Bernhard Schimpelsberger collects new percussion instruments on his expeditions and masters different musical traditions with virtuoso flair. For the opening concert of his Fellowship at Beethovenfest 2025, he is bringing along the remarkable vision string quartet. Together, they create a unique vision of Béla Bartók’s pioneering Fourth String Quartet.
