Panel discussion »Transformation now!« (in German) to conclude the Summer of Change Culture Festival
Description
In this concert, the members of Brooklyn Rider ask themselves: What does citizenship mean to us – particularly as Americans? They see the string quartet as the microcosm of a democracy, exemplified by Haydn’s and Beethoven’s egalitarian musical structures. In addition, we will be hearing commissioned works by American composers that address today’s conflicts, such as the one on the Mexican border.
The concert is the closing event of the Summer of Change Cultural Festival in Bonn. A panel discussion on transformation and sustainability will take place on the stage of the Pantheon Theatre at 14:30 before the concert begins.
Recording of the panel discussion by WDR
