In 2020, Eva Kraus was appointed artistic director of the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn. An exciting job in one of the most authoritative cultural institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany. Beethovenfest artistic director Steven Walter invited her to a live recording session in front of an audience in his living room. Eva Kraus spoke with him about her visions for the Bundeskunsthalle. Some of this overlaps with the goals of Beethovenfest: undertaking the transformation into a more sustainable institution, thinking about reaching out to new audiences and finding artistic answers to the big questions of the day – all of this occupies Eva Kraus.

In the upcoming Beethovenfest 2023, we will continue our long-standing cooperation with the Bundeskunsthalle. Various concerts, dance performances and encounters will take place in the Forum, the museum's event hall.
