Sirocco is pure joy and energy – a musical whirlwind of various folk traditions, early music, classical and modernism. Cellist and vocalist Abel Selaocoe and the Manchester Collective from the UK move seamlessly between music for string quartet such as Haydn, and compellingly arranged traditional music from Africa and Denmark.
