Sasha Waltz: IN C

Sasha Waltz’s choreography »IN C« is based on the revolutionary 1964 work of the same name by the American composer Terry Riley – in the music, everything revolves around the central note C. It is a pioneering work of minimal music, not least due to its open structure of 53 short phrases that can be freely assembled. Sasha Waltz works with the same principle in her choreography. Ensemble Musikfabrik and Sasha Waltz & Guests present a version for Beethovenfest Bonn.
