Frederik Werth studied philosophy and musicology/sound studies at the Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn before he was hired as an assistant director at the Theatre Bonn. Here he curated the open format »Late Night – Klappe die...« together with other assistants of the Theater Bonn, and also created his first own works.

In addition to directing, Frederik Werth also works in sound and video with Luise Voigt, Reinhild Hoffmann, Sebastian Kreyer and Theater Blackbox, among others. Together with Alois Reinhardt he forms the performance group AAWKIISO, with Fee Zweipfennig the collective PHASE IV.
