Description
An »ultra« solo recital: Residency artist Anastasia Kobekina takes on the challenge of alternating the gut strings of the Baroque cello with the steel strings of the modern cello. We will be hearing not only three cello suites by Johann Sebastian Bach: with contemporary solo pieces, she finds touching and personal commentaries on Bach’s timeless music, including a lively work by her father Vladimir Kobekin.
