Auf einen Blick
Description
The four elements are primal forces to which we feel an instinctive connection. Inspired by rapidly intensifying environmental imbalances, Brooklyn Rider has created a concert based on the concept of the balance between the elements. The ensemble commissioned new works for the elements Earth, Water, Air and Fire, which they perform alongside classical modernist works.
Earth:
Suite of American Folk Songs, collected by Ruth Crawford Seeger (1901–1953), arr. by Colin Jacobsen
Dan Trueman: »Under My Feet« (2022)
