Description
In the orchestral final, the Beethoven piano concertos will be performed together with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn under the direction of Dirk Kaftan:

Piano concertos by Ludwig van Beethoven:
No. 1 in C major op. 15 and No. 3 in C minor op. 37
or
No. 2 in B flat major op. 19 and No. 4 in G major op. 58
or
No. 5 in E-flat major, op. 73 and the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major, op. 61 (version for piano).
The jury will decide which works will be played in the final.
Afterwards, the jury will announce the ranking of the three finalists.
In addition, the audience will have the opportunity to decide on the awarding of the audience prize for the best interpretation of a piano concerto in the final round.
