Discourse at Beethovenfest

Beethovenfest is a place of exchange – we want to be a platform for the topics of our time. To this end, we organise various discussion formats within the festival: Lectures, panel discussions and roundtables. Of course, we also want to continue the dialogue about our concert projects. There is room for this in concert introductions and artist talks.

The most important thing is that you, the audience, are cordially invited to have your say! We welcome voices that join in the conversation. Be it at the discursive events or during a chat in between at the festival centre. We want to get into dialogue with you!

In its discursive events, Beethovenfest Bonn 2023 is focusing on the question of »survival«. Human-caused destruction of the environment, the warming of the atmosphere and the resulting climate change threaten the foundations of our life, and we are responsible for changing it. We debated this topic with experts from culture, science and society and with the audience.
