Description
»All people will emerge as sisters«: Anouchka and Katharina Hack believe this is also included in Beethoven’s famous ode and invite the audience to ›sisterhood‹. Suggestions for free improvisation are welcome, giving the audience the opportunity to comment, as it were, together with the artists on the works heard. Cellist Anouchka Hack, one of this year’s Beethovenfest Talents, joins her sister in envisioning a concert as a meeting place – with moderation and a charming musical mix from all eras including original works and arrangements. The pieces share the common theme of hope for connection. The inseparable bond between siblings are the focus, for example in the music of the Boulanger sisters or of Fanny Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
