Description
The Javus Quartet is »developing its own unique artistic signature«. This is the appraisal of the jury of the Jürgen Ponto Music Prize, which will be presented to the young Austrian-German ensemble at the concert. We can look forward to an artistically exciting programme: the ensemble confronts Haydn’s theatrical and large-scale »Sunrise« Quartet and Beethoven’s op. 132, two milestones of the repertoire, with Hans Gál’s rarely-heard early work from 1916.
