The Thomas Mann House in Pacific Palisades – the writer’s home in Californian exile – is now a think tank where Thomas Mann Fellows discuss political and cultural issues. Among them this year is Beethovenfest artistic director Steven Walter. In our panel discussion, current and former Fellows talk about the relevance of Thomas Mann’s political observations for our time.
