Description
Yoann Bourgeois’s poetic performances take us to a world somewhere between circus, theatre, and dance. His goal is to »disarm time«, to overcome gravity and centrifugal force – and to bring the forces, both external and internal, that tug at us all into a fragile equilibrium. On rotating surfaces, wobbling floors, and stairs leading to nowhere, he and his dance partner search for balance. Olga Scheps finds musical analogies on the piano.
