Description
An admiration of America’s progressiveness shines through in Dvořák’s captivating music, while Honegger immortalised the Pacific steam locomotive in a symphonic poem. However, Jürg Halter’s contemporary poetry strikes a more sceptical tone. The Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich led by Paavo Järvi open a festival that ponders life now and in the future.
After the concert, guests are invited to a party in the Opera Bonn foyer bar with DJ Tereza!
