Description
The pianist Karlrobert Kreiten was born in Bonn in 1916 and, after being denunciated, was executed by the National Socialist regime on 7 September 1943. We remember the piano talent on the 80th anniversary of his death. On the same day, we also mark three years since the flutist and political activist Maria Kalesnikava was arrested in Belarus. Hans Hinterkeuser, an expert on Kreiten’s legacy, curates an evening of remembrance and solidarity with the victims of dictatorships past and present, with artists from Germany and Belarus.
In cooperation with the Beethoven-Haus Bonn
